Police issue warning as scammers pose as officers to try and get financial details
Scammers are posing as police officers to try and dupe people into handing over financial information. Phone calls even appear to come from a local police station, say officers from Camden Police Area Command in NSW, which is a warning the public to beware of the new tactics.



Somebody with this number called saying they work for Microsoft support and that my ID is being used online. After several minutes on the phone they asked if I wanted to buy a software to monitor activity on line which I refused. They then locked my laptop so I can't login
