I received a text message from my network provider whilst I was on the phone saying I had received a missed call from this number. I immediately cancelled my current phonecall to ring them back. When I attempted to call them back the line was dead. I tried twice more but to no avail.

Who creates the database and how is the trustworthiness of the comments ensured?

The phone number database and ratings are created by the users themselves. They can add their reviews either through the website or through the Call Insider app.

Comments are posted by the users of the website anonymously, so it is not possible to ensure their 100% trustworthiness. We, of course, get requests to remove comments on phone numbers stating that they are a tool of competition and they have been fabricated. We, therefore, reserve the right to delete comments or even disable comments for a particular number.

Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the bin icon in the bottom right corner, fill in a short form and confirm the email address where a statement on how the moderators dealt with the comment will be sent. The processing of such a request usually takes 1-2 weeks.
