Twelve people were arrested in Malaysia after they were suspected to be involved in a scam syndicate targeting Singaporeans, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said on Sunday (Feb 19).
Are you fed up with repeated spam or pesky telemarketing calls that keep troubling throughout the day even during busy periods? Despite several measures by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) in past few years, the problem of pesky telemarketing calls and messages has remained as it is.
They claimed that their servers detected my computer had a virus; I explained to them I have antivirus software which says otherwise which caused them to terminate the call. I suspect they were trying to sell me a cure for something which didn't exist.
